IT Queste fotografie nascono dal mio desiderio di regalare a Lelio, fotografo negli anni '40, un servizio in bianco e nero analogico per il suo compleanno del 2023. Aveva un bastone da passeggio con una spada nascosta al suo interno, quindi abbiamo deciso di farlo posare come un cavaliere e si è divertito molto a interpretare il ruolo. Ho scattato queste fotografie il 18 marzo, due giorni dopo il suo novantesimo compleanno. Esattamente un mese dopo, il 18 aprile, purtroppo è venuto a mancare e mi sentirò sempre molto fortunato per aver scattato i suoi ultimi ritratti. Lelio era il mio ultimo nonno in vita.

EN This project stemmed because of my will to gift Lelio, a photographer when teenager in the 40s, with a black and white film photoshoot for his birthday in 2023. He had this walking stick with an hidden sword in it, so we agreed to make him act like a chevalier and he did enjoy playing the part. I shot these photographs on March, 18th, two days after his 90th birthday. Exactly one month later, on April, 18th, unfortunately he passed away and I will always feel so lucky of having shot his very last portraits. Lelio was my last grandparent alive.
